Cognizant partners with Cognition to scale Devin and Windsurf across its engineering organization and global clients

Cognizant, one of the world’s leading IT professional services companies, has partnered with Cognition to deploy our software engineering platform, including Devin, the autonomous software engineer, and Windsurf, the agentic IDE, across its engineering organization and client base, spanning industries and many of the world’s largest companies.

This partnership helps enable Cognizant to rapidly increase their capacity to deliver AI software engineering solutions to their customers, prioritizing reliability, stability, and security.

Engineers at Cognizant already use the Windsurf IDE for agent-assisted, in-flow coding. Now, they’re exploring Devin’s capabilities for autonomous, end-to-end execution across engineering workflows, including code migration, refactoring, testing, and maintenance. From there, Cognizant plans to roll both Devin and Windsurf out to engineering teams across its global client base, spanning healthcare, financial services, insurance, and beyond.

To support the rollout, Cognition will embed our own team of forward-deployed AI engineers for project selection, engineer enablement, and ROI measurement. The team will work directly with Cognizant’s engineering team and customers.
